Delivery designed around large bedroom furniture

Beds and mattresses are large items, so we want your delivery to feel clear, organised and easy to plan. Before ordering, please check your access, contact details and room space so everything runs as smoothly as possible.

Delivery timeframe

Most Auro Sleep orders are delivered within 5-10 working days.

In many cases, items may be ready sooner, but delivery times can vary depending on the product, your area and delivery availability. We’ll confirm the relevant delivery details after your order has been placed.

Deliveries may take place Monday to Saturday, usually between 7am and 9pm.

Delivery updates

Please make sure your mobile number and email address are correct at checkout. Delivery updates are usually sent by SMS and email.

You’ll normally receive your delivery date and time slot 24-48 hours before delivery. You may need to confirm or accept the slot to secure your delivery.

Free UK delivery

Free UK delivery is available on Auro Sleep orders unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Some locations, access requirements or specialist services may vary depending on the product and delivery area. Any relevant delivery details will be confirmed after your order is placed.

Before your delivery

Before delivery, please:

  • Measure your doorways, hallway turns, stairs and room access
  • Check that your selected bed, mattress or headboard will fit safely into the room
  • Clear the route from the entrance to the room
  • Move fragile items, mirrors and ornaments out of the way
  • Protect flooring where needed
  • Let us know about access issues such as narrow stairs, restricted parking, flats or lifts

Please do not dispose of your existing bed or mattress until your new order has arrived and been checked.

Flats and apartments

If you live in a flat or apartment, please check lift access and stair access before ordering.

Large items may not be deliverable above certain floors if there is no working lift, if the item does not fit in the lift, or if the delivery team cannot carry the item safely. If access is restricted, delivery may be made to the safest accessible point.

High headboards and large items

Some headboards and bases are large and heavy. Please double-check staircases, turns, doorways and room access before ordering.

Where relevant, taller headboards may be supplied in sections to support safer delivery and handling.

Assembly service

Assembly may be available as an optional paid service on selected products. If available, it will be shown on the product page before you add the item to basket.

Assembly does not include dismantling old beds, moving existing furniture, removing old items, or removing packaging unless this is clearly stated at checkout or agreed separately.

If assembly cannot be completed because the item does not fit, the room is not ready, or access is unsafe, the assembly fee may still apply.

Missed deliveries

Please make sure someone is available for the confirmed delivery slot.

If a confirmed delivery is missed, a re-delivery fee may apply. This is currently £50 where charged by the courier for a second delivery attempt.

Delivery delays

Occasionally, deliveries may be delayed or rescheduled due to traffic, vehicle issues, route changes, weather, access problems or courier capacity.

If this happens, we’ll work with the delivery partner to arrange the next available delivery slot.

Checking your order on delivery

Please check your items when they arrive.

If anything appears damaged, please make a note with the delivery team where possible and contact us within 24 hours with:

  • Your name
  • Your order number
  • Your postcode
  • Clear photos of the damage
  • Photos of the packaging, if relevant

This helps us review the issue quickly and support you with the next steps.

Old item removal and recycling

We do not currently offer removal or recycling of old beds, mattresses or packaging.

Please contact your local council or a local recycling service to arrange disposal of old items.

Delivery timings, locations and service levels can vary depending on the product, delivery area and availability.

Please make sure all access information is accurate before ordering. If an item cannot be delivered safely because of access restrictions, we’ll advise on the next steps.
